Elaine Dimitroff is a Team Leader with the Ministry of Transportation’s Road Safety Marketing Office. She collaborates with provincial and local road safety partners across the province to promote and develop a variety of initiatives that increase public awareness and change behaviour related to road safety issues and leading causes of collision, injury and death. Elaine has been passionate about car seat safety since she joined the Marketing Office in 2005 and was immediately trained through St. John Ambulance as a Child Restraint Technician and Instructor. She is currently a Child Restraint Instructor with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada. Elaine continues to stay current on new and emerging trends in car seat safety in her role with MTO and as an Auxiliary Sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police co-leading the car seat program for the OPP.
