VP, Government Relation & Canada Transit Market Sector Lead, AECOM
Kirsten Watson joined AECOM in November 2022 as vice president of government relations and transit market sector leader for its Canadian transportation business. In this role, Kirsten is leading growth initiatives with transit agencies and service providers while supporting AECOM’s growth agenda in the global transit market.
She has a wealth of transit industry experience, most recently as deputy chief executive officer of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). In her nearly 19 years at the TTC, she held numerous leadership roles in subway and bus operations, customer experience, human resources, and employee relations. In addition to her transit responsibilities, Kirsten works across all business lines to increase AECOM’s profile in Canada with its government partners and clients.
