Biography

Robert Monster started his career with the Ministry of Transportation in 1986 in the research department investigating the use of alternate fuels.
 
In 1998, after several different positions within MTO, he joined the Ministry’s Carrier Safety and Enforcement Branch as the Senior Vehicle Standards Engineer where his duties are to support the Carrier program with technical expertise and to support the development of policy, regulations and legislative bills.
 
As well, Robert is the ministry’s representative on the CSA’s technical committee for accessible vehicles (D409), and since 1998 the school bus standards committee (D250), including four years as chair.
 
Robert is a certified Automotive Service Technician and licensed in Ontario as a Professional Engineer.
